So the living room was the dumping ground for the boxes when the movers brought them back!!!  But at the request of my Mum here are some detailed photos.

Dining room

Well this is where we will have a dining room.  Thanks to my Mum and Dad for the dining table we haven't even chosen as yet!!!

All the trackle will be gone shortly, but after 5 hours solid of unpacking on Sunday there were certain things that just didn't make it away.  Also some stuff got a stay of execution and is on its way up to Vermont.

Series of blogs….

Well it has been one heck of a weekend.

Lazy start to Saturday, well that was the plan, but Verizon arrived at 9am promptly (well after not turning up 2 weeks ago it was the least they could do) so we are step 2 on in getting a landline and therefore our intercom buzzer.

10am was Nadav (head of Perfect Renovation) and Brian (head contractor) - we are officially no longer a job site…….  Still some stuff to do but all their crap is out of the apartment.  Couple of bigger things to finish but mainly just touch up….. So……..

Saturday afternoon was a girlie afternoon, haircut, shopping, dinner at Boqueria, home to my little pooch.

Sunday the fun starts….  Boxes in the kitchen were step one.  And they got done.  Hoped to get bar stools in to try out from Design Within Reach (yes they will let me bring them to my apartment to see how they look) but ran out of time.  Well didn't really but needed pedicure, manicure and massage!!!!

Monday was a day off  - Presidents Day - so what did I do?  I started on the spare room boxes and the ones that are in the living room.  The basement is somewhat full of empty boxes……

So am going to load "thematic" photos….

But think we are getting there, it really is the fiddly bits that need to be finished off.  So I thought I would post some photos.  I was working from home on Friday, but stupidly waited until the light was failing to take the photos.  So they are not great.
