Been an interesting week since Alabama. Headed straight up to Vermont to partake in the Old Man's Cup - great fun, even though my golf is quite terrible. It was a wet day, but we made it round 18 holes, fabulous drinks and dinner with mates in the evening.
Then Wednesday headed to the UK. I caught up with my parents for a day while Shorty entertained clients in London. Friday was a more somber day, caught up with a bunch of old mates from Singapore to remember those that passed away in the Bali bombing 10 years ago. Also a time to remember others who have passed away far too early in their lives.
So back to the renovations. We are definitely being kicked out of Willow Street on 16 November so hopefully we have somewhere to move into. Thought we would add some photos of progress - little hard to see as things that have progressed are the hardwood floors on the 8th floor, but these are all covered up for protection and the correct kitchen tiles have been laid, again covered up for protection. Hope is that next week 5 windows will be installed, the kitchen cabinets will start to be fitted and the millwork start to be installed - but not holding my breath………
Have also included some photos of the front of the building now that the scaffolding is down.

When you say the "right tiles" does that mean that at some point there were the "wrong tiles"?
